We ask all Emerald Laser patients to agree to these policies in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic:
Please promptly contact us to cancel your appointment if:
- you do not feel well, have a sore throat, fever, cough, runny nose or other respiratory symptoms
- if you have tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you not return to the office for at least 14 days, until your symptoms have cleared, or for at least 14 days AND a negative test if you are asymptomatic
- if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you wait 7 days for any personal symptoms to arise and provide a negative test before returning to our office
- if someone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 we require you to wait at least 14 days from their positive test AND for you to have a negative test result before returning to our office** (Please note that we reserve the right to deviate from this policy based on your situation and on the severity of infection your household member is experiencing.)
P.S. If any of these have occurred, please keep us posted on how you are feeling and if there is anything we can do to help support you and your return to health, remotely!
At this time, late cancellation due to health or COVID related concerns will not be subject to our cancellation policy –
We whole-heartedly support an abundance of caution!
We will get you rescheduled and back into your laser treatment series as quickly as possible.
HOW WE ARE KEEPING YOU SAFE:
- We have decreased our available appointments to decrease the chance of patients being in the office at the same time to keep the amount of people in the laser room at one time as low as possible. (Ideally, just you and our staff person at any time)
BETWEEN EVERY PATIENT:
- high touch areas in the office (such as door knobs, chairs, the water cooler, etc.) are sanitized either with rubbing alcohol or UV-C Light
- After removing the sheets and pillow cases, all pillows used, table surfaces and the laser are sterilized with UV-C light and/or alcohol where indicated
EVERY DAY:
- The touch points throughout the entire office building are cleaned throughout the day
- The Bathrooms are cleaned several times throughout the day
- The laser room is cleaned with a full-room, hospital-grade UV sanitizing light for 30 minutes twice per day, once at lunch and once at close, and more when necessary
WEEKLY:
- The entire building is deep cleaned and sanitized over the weekend
