The health and wellbeing of the Transgender and Gender Non-conforming population is a passion for us at Quantum Light Healthcare. In fact, one of the reasons that we decided to bring the Emerald Laser into our practice is because we could not ignore the potential benefit to the Transgender community and other Gender related minorities.

While the Emerald Laser cannot guarantee specific results or make very specific, crafted changes to the body like plastic surgery can, it is also a completely safe option. In many ways, it is a more affordable option and has no downtime or healing and recovery needed. Because of these factors we feel it could be incredibly helpful, especially in the early or fine-tuning stages of transition.

Many people, especially Trans Men and AFAB Non-binary people experience varying levels of dysphoria and discomfort surrounding their appearance in areas of the body that the presence of estrogen hormones have signaled for increased fat storage; especially the chest, thighs and hips.

The Emerald Laser can target specific areas and help reduce fat deposits and reduce the overall size of the areas being treated.

We understand and honor the power of pronouns and chosen names, and we will adhere to your preferences on these things within our practice, no matter where you are on your journey and identification. If you are using health insurance to see Dr Kat as a medical patient, you will be asked for your current legal name and legal gender. This is because unfortunately, insurance companies do not offer non-binary or preference-based options for billing and patient care related communication at this time.

Our restrooms are single occupant and gender neutral.
