Dr Kat Halloran, ND

Dr Kat has spent over 30 years working in several different areas of medicine, enough to have a deep appreciation for how much room for improvement there is in our current mainstream medical system. She grew up in the Northern Kentucky / Greater Cincinnati region, where she spent the first 10 years of her career working as a Clinical infectious disease Microbiologist in a large hospital system. 

After a series of traumatic events in her personal life, her eyes were opened to just how important it is that people have access to truly compassionate, holistic care that centers the human being and supports them in the many different avenues and aspects of true wellness. It also became more apparent than ever just how hard it is to find that kind of health care.

She had long dreamed of moving to Seattle or the Pacific Northwest, and when she learned about Naturopathic medicine and Bastyr University, she realized she had found her true calling. She arrived in Seattle in 1999 and graduated with her Naturopathic Medical degree in 2005. 

Dr Kat is deeply passionate about treating the whole human and supporting wellness in not only the body but also the mental, emotional and spiritual needs of each individual to help them create a strong, supportive foundation for wellness.

Dr Kat lives with her wife, Amber and their pets; 9 rescued cats, a chihuahua and a cockatiel who keeps the entire house on their toes. In her free time, Dr Kat loves drinking coffee, weekend adventures to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest, meditating in her backyard medicinal herb garden, snuggling with all her furry family members and visiting the many beaches and mountains our area has to offer.
